Geoffrey Robertson QC is recognised as one of the world’s leading human rights lawyers and played a major part in the enactment of the British bill of rights. In this special Melbourne Writers Festival event, he will ask: Why is Australia the only developed nation in the world without a bill of rights?

The public lecture is on Thursday 2 April 2009 at the Melbourne Recital Centre, Starts at 6.30pm.
