Why is Australia the only so-called developed nation without a Bill of Rights? Are our rights better protected than those of others so we don’t need one? What do other countries know that we don’t know? The Federal Government is consulting on the need for human rights protection so now is the time to talk about these issues.

A Forum presented by Human Rights Coalition and Amnesty International SA/NT supported by: Australian Peace Committee and ANTaR (SA), in association with Womens’ International League for Peace and Freedom (SA Branch)

When: Thursday April 30 2009 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM
Where:Rennie Lecture Theatre, Ground Floor, Badger Laboratories Building (just west of Union Building), University of Adelaide, SA
